Group Home Manager (Residential Program Manager)

Position Overview

Dignity Group Homes, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with DBHDS Licensing Standards (12VAC35-105), and provide leadership to staff supporting adults with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and committed to person-centered, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the group home, ensuring the home remains safe, clean, and compliant with DBHDS regulations.
• Provide supervision, scheduling, coaching, and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including daily notes, MARs, incident reports, and monthly summaries.
• Participate in and support Individual Support Plans (ISPs), Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), and risk management protocols.
• Communicate professionally with Program Director, QDDP/RN-BSN, guardians, families, and external stakeholders.
• Conduct staff meetings, trainings, and performance reviews.
• Oversee household supplies, medication inventory, food management, and maintenance needs.
• Ensure the rights, health, and safety of all individuals receiving services.
• Respond to emergencies and provide on-call support as needed.
• Maintain a positive and structured environment that promotes independence, respect, and dignity.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of DBHDS, 12VAC35-105, Human Rights (12VAC35-115), and Medicaid Waiver guidelines preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
• Ability to pass background checks (including fingerprinting, central registry, OIG, and barrier crime screening).
• CPR/First Aid, Medication Management, and required trainings (or willing to complete).

$18.00 per hour
