Your daily life
Within Thales, you will join engineering teams involved in the development of complex systems for the defense and high-tech sectors. You will work in a multidisciplinary environment bringing together systems engineering, electronics, software, mechanics, IVVQ, and industrialization.
As an experienced Work Package Manager, you will lead one or more engineering work packages within a project or product line, ensuring technical, schedule, and financial commitments are met.
You will:
- Plan and manage the technical, schedule, and budgetary progress of work packages
- Coordinate the production of deliverables and lead development reviews
- Manage risks, technical facts, and problem-solving
- Ensure the conformity of work with client requirements
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and co-engineering activities
- Report to the Project Manager and functional managers
Your profile
Do you want to lead engineering work packages on complex and innovative systems? Is your priority to ensure commitments in terms of costs, deadlines, and performance? Do you have the ambition to lead multidisciplinary technical teams in a demanding environment? Do you want to contribute to projects combining electronics, software, mechanics, and embedded systems? Do you have an engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5) and significant experience in:
- Leading work packages or complex systems projects
- Developing industrial products (defense, aeronautics, or equivalent)
- Monitoring qualification and validation tests
- Transverse management and multi-trade/subcontractor coordination
