About

In a demanding and highly international industrial environment, we are looking for an Engine Development Program Manager (M/F) to lead strategic projects related to sensitive applications, particularly in the defense market.

Responsibilities

Reporting to a global matrix organization, you will be responsible for managing complex programs, from the development phase to industrialization:

• Define and deploy the program strategy in line with product and business objectives
• Manage several international projects (development, sourcing, industrialization) ensuring costs, deadlines, and quality
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (R&D, purchasing, quality, production) without direct hierarchical link
• Identify risks, anticipate deviations, and implement associated action plans
• Ensure structured reporting to management (KPIs, budgets, milestones)
• Lead project governance bodies with internal and external stakeholders
• Supervise program planning and financial monitoring
• Ensure compliance with internal product development processes

Qualifications

• Higher education in engineering (mechanical, engine, or equivalent)
• Confirmed experience in managing complex programs in an international industrial environment
• Solid skills in supply chain, sourcing, and industrialization
• Mastery of technical challenges related to engines (diesel, gas, or complex mechanical systems)
• Ability to evolve in matrix organizations and to unite cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English mandatory (German and/or French a plus)
• Project management certification (IPMA, PMI type) appreciated
