About Us
We are looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Lead to establish and scale a best-in-class CRO practice for our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce business. As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of powersports products, our e-commerce experience supports complex customer journeys, from parts and accessories to apparel search, customization, financing, dealer integration, and after-sales service.
The person in this role will be responsible for conversion strategy, experimentation, and continuous optimization on our Magento (Adobe Commerce) platform, leveraging the full suite of experimentation and personalization tools. They will work at the intersection of customer insight, data, user experience (UX), and revenue growth, translating observations into measurable impact.
This is a hands-on leadership role that will define the CRO roadmap, establish an experimentation discipline, and collaborate closely with UX, Engineering, Marketing, Data Analytics, Merchandising, and Product teams.
What You'll Do
Build the CRO Practice
- Define and lead the CRO vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with DTC revenue goals, customer experience, and business objectives.
- Establish CRO as a core company competency, including processes, governance, prioritization frameworks, and success metrics.
- Identify high-impact optimization opportunities within key conversion funnels.
- Balance experiments driving quick wins with long-term UX and platform improvements.
Lead Experimentation and Testing
- Lead A/B, multivariate, and personalization tests using our CRO tool.
- Develop clear hypotheses grounded in data, behavioral insights, and market research.
- Own test design, QA, execution, analysis, and recommendations.
- Ensure statistical rigor, test validity, and clear interpretation of results.
- Translate learnings across platforms, journeys, and markets.
Oversee Data, Insights, and Analytics
- Partner with analytics teams to define and track conversion KPIs.
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative data (GA4, Contentsquare, etc.). VoC (Voice of Customer) via Qualtrics…
- Translate data into actionable insights and business cases.
Platform and Technical Collaboration
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams on Magento (Adobe Commerce) features, constraints, and enhancements.
- Ensure experimentation and personalization are implemented rigorously, securely, and at scale.
- Collaborate on technical SEO, performance optimization, and mobile-first experiences.
- Influence roadmap decisions with insights from CRO.
User Experience (UX), Personalization, and Customer Experience
- Collaborate with UX and Design teams to optimize:
- Navigation and information architecture.
- Product discovery and merchandising.
- Trust, confidence, and clarity to drive informed purchases.
- Leverage Optimizely personalization to deliver relevant experiences based on customer behavior, lifecycle stage, and intent.
- Advocate for data-driven design decisions while respecting brand and regulatory requirements.
