Within the Marketing Department, the Media Manager drives Puy du Fou's Media Strategy for France, serving attendance growth, brand influence, and business performance. A central role in an organization undergoing transformation, with concrete and visible business challenges, a unique, emotional, and powerful brand, strong autonomy, and a real capacity for impact. The position covers the management of initiatives aimed at generating visitor traffic to the French park (French and inbound international markets), and also acts as a media expertise center for the Grand Puy du Fou (group), supporting subsidiaries. In a context of strong ambition and evolving usage, this role is key to orchestrating a high-performing, innovative media mix fully integrated into the overall marketing strategy, with particular attention to the three pillars of media performance: reach, effectiveness, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
As Media Manager, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing Puy du Fou France's media strategy (offline & digital), ensuring the effectiveness of investments, consistency with the annual marketing strategy, integration of media levers into 360° plans, and the organization's media maturity.
1. Media Strategy & Management
- Build the annual media strategy (France + inbound international)
- Define and manage multi-lever media plans, including: TV, online video (BVOD, SVOD), cinema, radio, outdoor advertising, brochures, digital (paid social media, social video, social performance, search, display, programmatic, B2B levers)
- Arbitrate investments, manage budgets, and optimize ROI
- Ensure consistency of activations with visitor segmentation, brand/creative platform, and business priorities
- Contribute to 360° marketing discussions (seasonal highlights, launches, new offers…)
2. Performance Management
- Structure media performance management through KPIs organized by persona and funnel stage (awareness, consideration, conversion)
- Utilize decision-support tools (MMM, studies, dashboards, post-tests…)
- Work in close collaboration with all marketing divisions (brand & content, CRM & data, digital visitor activation), as well as social media teams, to ensure: integration of visitor knowledge and media segmentation by persona, alignment between media and creative strategy, effectiveness of redirection paths to the showcase website and online sales platform
- Incorporate the media strategy into a continuous improvement logic
3. Partner Coordination
- Manage the media agency and internal/external partners
- Challenge recommendations, drive innovation
- Ensure close collaboration with internal teams (brand, content, CRM, data, digital activation, sales, B2B, communication…)
4. Organization & Leadership
- Manage, structure, and grow a media team that is set to evolve
- Develop internal skills, methods, and processes
- Act as a media referent for Grand Puy du Fou (group)
- Embody collaborative leadership, focused on impact and results
Qualifications
Education and Degrees:
- You have a higher education degree in Marketing
Required Experience:
- You have significant experience of at least 8 years in B2C and B2B media strategy and management, on the client side in a mature and demanding environment with complex media plans, and/or on the agency side managing structured key accounts.
- Experience in the tourism/leisure/entertainment sectors is a plus.
Required Skills:
- Understanding of the funnel and mastery of offline & online media levers, with a strong performance orientation
- Proficiency with data, optimization tools, and management of ROI/ROE/Revenue Contribution
- Experience managing substantial budgets and structuring/managing teams
- Strategic and operational leadership, ability to structure, unite, and scale an organization
Required Qualities:
- Curious, demanding, pragmatic, with a strong appetite for innovation and new media environments (including AI / new digital uses)
