Responsable Produit Données / Data Product Owner

About the Role

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for an A220 Data Product Owner to join our Digital Solutions - Customer Services team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with architects, data governance, data analysts and a team of product owners.

You will be part of the Digital Products team responsible for the integration, the operations and the evolution of different digital products supporting internal and external A220 customers.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as A220 Data Product Owner will be to manage the lifecycle of A220 Customer Services data products on Airbus platforms. Your responsibility spans from initial design and development progression through to operational use. You will be crucial in defining and maintaining a robust data product management process, collaborating with various collaborators to identify opportunities, prioritize developments and guarantee the delivered product effectively meets customer needs.

Your challenges

• Be accountable for the A220 Customer Services Data product lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and operations
• Be accountable for the Data product success; availability, data quality, pertinence, customer satisfaction and alignment with the organisation priorities
• Define the Data product vision and evolution roadmap for A220 data assets consumed through Skywise or other platforms. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to align data needs with business goals
• Manage resource allocation to maximize value while meeting organization operating plan targets
• Act as the focal point, gathering needs and feedback from stakeholders to inform Data product decisions and define data requirements and consumption patterns
• Coordinate and guide cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery within defined budgets
• Translate high-level Data product strategy into detailed data definitions, data quality rules and specifications
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and data quality/operational performance of the Data product
• Validate Data product performance and operational readiness against commitments, ensuring the solution is robust, scalable and meets business objectives
• Ensure seamless alignment of Customer Services Data product with other enterprise platforms and solutions
• Maintain and enhance documentation and optimize internal processes related to data product management, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or an equivalent field
• You have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in product management or a similar role, with significant experience focusing on data
• You have skills in capturing and managing customer data needs, translating them into structured data requirements
• You have experience managing various stakeholders
• You have a strong understanding of data architecture concepts
• You have knowledge of the Skywise platform and aviation data (an asset)
• You enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• You possess good oral and writing skills in French and English
• You must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision, be a team player and have project organization skills
• You must be a person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment
• You must be able to travel if necessary.
