Senior Construction Project Manager

About Montreal Mini-Storage

As part of our continued growth and portfolio optimization, Montreal Mini-Storage is looking for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead major construction and improvement projects across our Quebec portfolio for a leave replacement of one year.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Construction & Development, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, multi-site construction projects—from concept through close-out. You will play a strategic role in capital planning, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full construction lifecycle: planning, design coordination, permitting, bidding, construction, commissioning, and close-out
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and CAPEX programs
• Oversee internal project management and repairs teams
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
• Liaise with municipal and governmental authorities
• Ensure compliance with CCQ, health & safety, and regulatory requirements
• Present project updates, budgets, and results to senior leadership

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field
• 8–12+ years of progressive construction project management experience
• Strong knowledge of Quebec construction regulations and permitting processes
• Proven ability to manage multi-site projects and cross-functional teams
• PMP, Gold Seal, or equivalent certification considered an asset
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
