About Us

We are an outsourcing company that has clients in Europe, USA and Asia. We are seeking someone to work as a Facilities & Launch project partner with for one of our valued clients in their location in Lyon. Our client is a Chinese e-commerce logistics and a large provider of cross-border e-commerce logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Management:

• Supervise service providers (cleaning, security, maintenance, energy).
• Ensure regulatory compliance (fire safety, environmental standards, accessibility, etc.).
• Manage site-related operational budgets.
• Optimize space utilization and operating costs.

Lead national hub opening projects:

• Participate in site selection (technical due diligence, logistics analysis, cost analysis).
• Coordinate internal stakeholders (operations, IT, HR, security) and external stakeholders (landlords, contractors, local authorities).
• Define infrastructure, equipment, and system requirements (automation, connectivity, etc.).
• Monitor the project schedule, budget, and deliverables (from lease signing to operational launch).
• Organize pre-launch testing and ramp-up.

Knowledge transfer & standardization:

• Document hub launch processes.
• Contribute to the creation of a national playbook for future openings.
• Train local teams on Cainiao standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in project management, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management and/or infrastructure/logistics project management.
• Proven experience in opening logistics centers, warehouses, or industrial platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
• Professional English (international environment) and fluent French.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
