Retail Store Floor Manager - Rosebank

The Opportunity

This position manages the retail floor for a specialty meat boutique. You ensure the retail store hits designated monthly sales targets. You guide the retail staff team during daily store operations. You provide factual product information to visiting retail store customers.

From R20,000 to R25,000 + negotiable depending on experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supervise all daily retail floor operations to ensure business functioning.
• Manage staff working schedules for mandatory six-day work weeks.
• Monitor current stock levels and order required products from suppliers.
• Handle daily cash management processes and standard store opening duties.
• Enforce strict health and safety food protocols for all personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Hold a Grade 12 or equivalent National Senior Certificate.
• Provide a minimum of two years retail management experience.
• Remain available for scheduled weekend and required public holiday shifts.

Required Experience

• Apply two years of proven experience managing retail teams.
• Handle fresh produce or perishable food goods on a daily basis.
• Solve standard retail floor operational problems safely and effectively.
• Manage multiple staff members in busy retail store environments.
• Operate standard retail point-of-sale systems for customer transactions.
