Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in downtown Oklahoma City, OK for a Revenue–Regulatory Accountant. The Revenue–Regulatory Accountant will manage federal and state royalty and production tax reporting. The candidate will ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and optimize financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Revenue Recognition and Accruals
- Experience with Journal Entries (Accounting) and preparation of Financial Statements
- Strong Analytical Skills for financial data analysis and problem-solving
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP and other relevant financial regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in the energy or natural resources sector is a plus
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA designation is strongly preferred
