About the role

Job Summary

To manage organisational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory, and internal policy requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework
  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory and policy requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments across programs and operations
  • Manage scholar-related risks (fraud, eligibility abuse)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
  • Conduct program risk audits (selection, disbursement, partnerships)
  • Support internal audits and control reviews
  • Train staff on compliance and ethics
  • Report risk exposure and mitigation actions to the program director
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the program director, Management and Advisory Board

Key Requirements

Education and Work Experience

  • First Degree in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics or a related discipline
  • Possession of relevant certifications is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 7 – 9 years’ experience in risk, compliance, or audit.
