About the role
Job Summary
To manage organisational risks and ensure compliance with regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to regulatory and policy requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments across programs and operations
- Manage scholar-related risks (fraud, eligibility abuse)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies
- Conduct program risk audits (selection, disbursement, partnerships)
- Support internal audits and control reviews
- Train staff on compliance and ethics
- Report risk exposure and mitigation actions to the program director
- Perform other duties as assigned by the program director, Management and Advisory Board
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- First Degree in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Economics or a related discipline
- Possession of relevant certifications is an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 – 9 years’ experience in risk, compliance, or audit.
