Robotic Software Engineer - Mandatory Internship

Responsibilities

• Develop ROS2 nodes
• Evaluate different ROS2 packages
• Test and deploy code inside both a simulated environment and directly onboard our vessels
• Expand the capabilities of our simulation environment
• Troubleshoot issues during lab and in-field tests

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2
• C++ or Python skills
• Work in a structured and proactive manner
• Good documentation and communication skills in English
• Linux skills
• Experience with Micro-ROS is beneficial
• Knowledge of NMEA 2000, 0183, ISOBus and CANopen standards is advantageous
• A portfolio of personal projects is highly regarded
