About the role
Overview
We are seeking an experienced SaaS Security Engineer/Consultant to support a large-scale SaaS security initiative. This individual will play a key role in onboarding critical business applications into a centralized security framework, with a focus on integrating and optimizing CrowdStrike Falcon Shield across a diverse application landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the onboarding and implementation of SaaS applications into the security ecosystem, including platforms such as Salesforce, Databricks, Slack, Microsoft environments, Rubrik, and others
- Ensure seamless integration and consistent security coverage through CrowdStrike Falcon Shield
- Design, build, and maintain automations to collect, analyze, and report on security and operational metrics
- Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to improve visibility into SaaS security posture
- Review, triage, and coordinate remediation of issues identified by Falcon Shield in partnership with application owners
- Create and maintain clear documentation for triage workflows, remediation processes, and tracking mechanisms
- Establish processes to monitor, report, and ensure timely resolution of security findings
- Collaborate closely with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to align on priorities, compliance requirements, and risk management strategies
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon Shield, including integrations, alerting, and dashboarding
- Proven experience securing SaaS applications in complex enterprise environments
- Strong background in cloud platforms and SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Slack, Databricks, etc.)
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar) for security operations and incident response
- Solid understanding of SaaS security frameworks, risk management, and compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial services)
- Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management processes
- Prior experience in a consulting or contract-based role supporting security initiatives
