Sales Account Manager Microbiology and Molecular Diagnostics (a) 90-100%

Your Day as a Sales Account Manager

  • You maintain business relationships with existing customers through regular personal and telephone contact, ensuring trusting and good customer relationships.
  • You work closely with central product management, the helpline, technical support, and field sales.
  • You are responsible for expanding business relationships with existing customers (upselling) and for proactively acquiring new customers (new sales), independently developing strategies for your sales territory.
  • You analyze market developments (supplier situation, product users/buyers, influencers, environmental factors) and conduct market research for early identification of new needs and products.
  • In addition to sales, your tasks also include participating in trade fairs, exhibitions, and symposia.

Your Profile as a Sales Account Manager

  • You have successfully completed a degree in natural sciences or a medical/scientific vocational training (molecular biology, microbiology, biochemistry) at a higher vocational school, university of applied sciences, or university.
  • You have already worked in a laboratory or completed a longer internship in a laboratory; you are familiar with laboratory workflows.
  • You have sales experience, impress with your persuasiveness, and are confident in negotiations and closing deals.
  • You possess an analytical mindset, high self-motivation, and an independent working style.
  • You are characterized by a high willingness to travel within your sales territory.
  • You have fluent German and English skills. Italian language skills are a plus.
