Role Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Specialist to lead customer acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth in Nigeria and beyond. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll shape go-to-market strategy, close deals, and grow our user base for both our free toolkit and premium enterprise offerings (AI-assisted SOC, vulnerability scanning, automated patching, compliance automation).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies to acquire SMBs, startups, non-profits, schools, and individual users in Nigeria and West Africa
- Identify and outreach to potential clients via LinkedIn, email, cold calls, WhatsApp, and local networks
- Manage full sales cycle: lead generation qualification demos negotiation close
- Create compelling content (social posts, emails, case studies, blog articles) highlighting our privacy-first AI tools and real-world impact
- Run targeted campaigns (LinkedIn ads, Google Ads, community events) to drive sign-ups and conversions
- Build and nurture partnerships with local tech communities, universities, and cybersecurity groups
- Track pipeline, forecast revenue, and report KPIs (leads, meetings, deals closed, MRR growth)
- Collaborate with product/research team to translate technical features (phishing detectors, breach checkers, URL scanners) into customer benefits
Requirements
- 2+ years in sales, business development, or marketing (tech/cybersecurity/SaaS preferred)
- Proven track record of closing deals and hitting targets
- Strong communication & presentation skills (English fluency required; Yoruba/Igbo/Hausa a plus)
- Comfortable with digital tools: LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM (HubSpot/Pipedrive), Google Workspace, Canva
- Passion for cybersecurity, privacy, and helping underserved communities stay safe online
- Self-motivated, results-driven, able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- On-site in Lagos (hybrid possible after onboarding)
