Department Manager – Spares & Services

A well-established manufacturer is seeking a senior-level Department Manager – Spares & Services to lead its technical spare parts and field services division in Krugersdorp.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in a senior role within spares sales, technical support, or mining equipment environments
• Strong background in mining equipment / technical mining support
• Proven experience heading up the sale of technical spare parts and components
• Solid understanding of supply chain, warehousing, sourcing, logistics and customer support

Advantageous Experience

• Hands‑on experience in the manufacture of vibratory screens and feeders
• Exposure to vibratory drives, screen refurbishments, and capital equipment repairs

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Spares & Services Department, including sales, sourcing, warehousing and support
• Oversee the sale, quoting, and processing of spare parts, repairs, refurbishments and field service requirements
• Manage sales order expediting, collections, deliveries and customer supply agreements
• Coordinate Field Services operations, including staffing, training, tooling, vehicles and safety compliance
• Support Sales Engineering and Sales teams with customer modifications, maintenance budgets and life cycle costing
• Drive process improvements, efficient spare part deployment, and strategies to reduce client downtime

Package & Remuneration

• R 90 000 – R 130 000 per month
