The Sales Development Executive contributes to the organisational goals by developing growth, through identifying potential customers and generate new business opportunities for the company. Contacting and qualifying potential customers and nurturing existing customer relationships. Managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on leads, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals. Finding new potential services to offer and helping the company to expand to new markets.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Plastics and/or Chemicals Industry.

  • Proven work experience as a TEAM LEADER as well as SALES EXECUTIVE with strong FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT track record.
  • Proven sales/distribution track record.
  • Experience in customer support.
  • Proficient communication and soft skills partnered with a strong business acumen.
  • Established customer relationships will be an advantage.
  • Good industry knowledge.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Able to build rapport and maintain relationships with key partners – colleagues, principals, and customers.
  • Able to identify and explore new relationships with potential principals and customers. Able to identify business growth and expansion opportunities.
  • Proficiency in CRM Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
