Key Result Areas:
- Sales Targets - Achieve both Domestic and FOB sales goals and maximize company profit.
- Distribution Coverage - Ensure full distribution across MGA product lines where appropriate.
- Top Account Growth - Drive growth specifically within the top French accounts.
- Forecast Accuracy - Manage and maintain accuracy in the France sales forecast.
- Marketing Alignment - Collaborate closely with Marketing on customer-specific promotional strategies.
Position Requirements - Skills and experience required:
Experience:
- Demonstrated success in growing sales annually within a competitive Toy industry setting.
- Strong analytical and management capabilities with major toy accounts.
- Collaborative mindset; experience working within a senior leadership team and retail leaders.
- Minimum 5 years of sales or retailing experience in a national Toy manufacturer or retailer.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
- Goal-driven with advanced forecasting and strategic planning abilities.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, sales policy, and communication skills.
- Reputable for professional integrity and ethical leadership.
- Deep understanding of product categories and targeted distribution in the Toy industry.
- Skilled negotiator with execution and follow-through capability.
- Agile, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Willingness to travel within France and internationally.
- Experience managing FOB business.
- Proven team builder and mentor for staff development.
Authority:
- Report to MGA France Managing Director.
Key Accountabilities:
- Build comprehensive business plans for each major customer, aligned with sales policies and category objectives.
- Set and work toward both short-term and long-term sales goals.
- Maintain strong buyer relationships and partnerships, promote the MGA portfolio effectively.
- Lead the sales team across all major accounts.
- Organize and lead sales meetings, including setting and tracking action items.
- Plan and coordinate daily sales activity, retailer timelines, and promotional scheduling (Spring/Fall presentations).
- Track and report performance against goals regularly.
- Follow company protocol on pricing and commercial terms communication ensuring company profitability targets are achieved.
- Regularly monitor POS data and communicate insights with leadership.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, update forecasts monthly and report changes to the MD France.
- Collaborate with marketing and licensing teams on promotional and licensing opportunities.
- Strategically identify and define growth opportunities.
- Support the MGA France MD with special projects or requests.
- Liaise with MGA’s Head Office and maintain open communication with key global stakeholders.
