Job Role

This is a structured developmental role designed for a recent graduate. The Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the sales process, developing foundational technical and commercial skills, and closing smaller-scale opportunities for industrial refrigeration projects. This role focuses on building customer relationships, delivering responsive solutions, and driving revenue growth within defined accounts and deal sizes.

Key Duties

  • Act as a technical expert and communicate engineering solutions effectively to customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and implementation
  • Collaborate with engineering to design and bid customized solutions
  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with customer decision-makers
  • Serve as an advisor across all product and service offerings
  • Coordinate with internal teams including engineering and marketing to support customer needs
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Support service delivery and customer satisfaction for new and existing accounts
  • Participate in lead generation through networking, prospecting, and marketing initiatives
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information in CRM systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field
  • Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain technical concepts
  • Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (seated or standing) for extended periods
  • Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)

Preferences

  • Previous experience in sales or business development.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
