About

Our client, a research company, is looking for an enthusiastic, mature, and driven Sales Executive to drive growth. You have a strong understanding of retail and FMCG environments, and a passion for helping clients unlock value through data-driven insights.

PLEASE NOTE:

You should have your own reliable car and a valid driver's license. There may be travel to areas outside of Gauteng from time to time, and these will be paid for by the company.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within retail, FMCG, or data analytics.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, promotions, and retail media.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with digital dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Own car for travel to local client meetings and industry events.

Skills, Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience selling SaaS, data services, or retail intelligence solutions.
  • Existing network within retail or FMCG sectors.
  • Must have a driver’s license

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, and FMCG sectors.
  • Promote and sell the 3 core solutions.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and tailor solutions to meet strategic objectives.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing dynamics.
