About the Position
As Sales Key Account Manager Consulting, you will play a key role in shaping our success and strengthening our market position. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strategic C-level client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor. Your responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities through active business development, as well as developing and solution-selling customized concepts, particularly in the context of cloud services and digitalization. You will analyze complex customer requirements, develop innovative solutions, and manage the entire sales process from acquisition to successful closing. Your contribution is crucial for our customers' growth and the achievement of our common goals.
Responsibilities
As Sales Key Account Manager, you will manage assigned strategically important key accounts with a particularly extensive and complex product and service portfolio. You will strategically develop new significant key accounts and new buying centers and will be responsible for initiating and managing the creation of offers, including contract negotiations and contract closing. Your key responsibilities also include:
- Defining and establishing sales & account strategies and the strategic further development of customer relationships.
- Being responsible for the entire sales cycle, from needs analysis to managing after-sales activities.
- Planning and executing measures for customer support/retention/reacquisition, and developing and implementing sales plans per customer (potentials, goals, timeframe).
- Preparing and following up on customer contacts, and providing active consulting and sales of products, services, and complex customer-oriented solutions.
- Coordinating project/selling teams, defining requirements for the product portfolio, and contributing to the implementation of marketing measures and customer events.
Requirements
You have a degree (solution selling, business development, knowledge in cloud services) or a comparable vocational training with a relevant specialization or specialized further training, or several years of professional experience in sales/key account management. Furthermore, you possess detailed company-specific knowledge or exceptional specialized knowledge and skills:
- Very good experience in classic and agile cooperation models.
- Excellent experience in managing strategically oriented projects.
- Outstanding knowledge of the entire product portfolio (solution selling, business development, knowledge in cloud services).
- Excellent experience in identifying and building customer contacts and maintaining customer relationships and partnerships.
- Highly developed closing-oriented communication skills.
- You have several years of experience in the technical leadership of selling/consulting teams.
- Ability to manage particularly difficult/highly complex tasks/problems across your area of responsibility and to advise customers.
