We have a vacancy for a Sales Manager (Building Trade) in Knysna, Western Cape – Urgent Placement.

Requirements

• Must be a local resident and have their own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum 3 years of previous supervising sales experience.
• Experience in branch management.
• Self-motivated leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven sales and customer service abilities.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

• A dynamic Sales Manager to lead sales operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to boost sales.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships.
• Supervise sales and support staff for optimal performance.
• Oversee merchandising and create effective displays.

Stock and Process Management

• Manage stock levels and make ordering decisions.
• Conduct inventory control and minimize shrinkage.
• Oversee receiving and distribution processes.

Administration

• Review and approve credit notes and purchase orders.
• Ensure timely preparation of administrative packs for head office.

Staff Management

• Lead team meetings and communicate company strategies.
• Delegate tasks and monitor efficiency.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on the sales floor.
