About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive new business and grow existing accounts by building long-term, trusted customer relationships
- Manage and develop key accounts, including preparation and leadership of annual contract and price negotiations
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, deliver accurate forecasts, and provide market and field sales intelligence
- Act as the main interface between customers and internal teams, coordinating with Customer Service, Marketing, Product Management, Application Engineering, and R&D
- Prepare customer-specific presentations and solutions to support sustainable business growth
- Ensure structured internal reporting, data analysis, and CRM-based documentation (forecast, budget, sales performance)
- Support local marketing activities, trade fairs, customer events, and internal sales meetings
Your profile and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a comparable field
- At least 5 years of successful experience in a sales role, ideally within an international, multi-site environment
- Proven track record in B2B (and ideally B2C) sales of technically explainable products; experience in plastics/film industry is a plus
- Strong background in key account and territory management, including prospecting, pipeline and forecast management
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a value-driven sales approach
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and a clear drive for results
- Proactive, independent working style with the ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Strong CRM knowledge and analytical skills to manage priorities, margins, and opportunities
- Fluency in English and local language; Italian or Spanish is a plus
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
