Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead sales operations for our Cream Division in Jos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market penetration, managing distributor relationships, and leading field sales activities to achieve business targets.

The successful candidate must possess strong FMCG sales experience, excellent leadership skills, and a proven ability to grow market share within assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and volume targets.
  • Manage and supervise sales representatives, distributors, and channel partners within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand customer base across retail and wholesale channels.
  • Ensure effective market coverage and product availability in all key outlets.
  • Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, and market trends to provide actionable insights.
  • Drive distributor performance and ensure alignment with company sales objectives.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor execution, visibility, and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in FMCG sales with strong exposure to home care products and distributor-led sales operations.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Good understanding of distributor management and route-to-market strategy.
