About the role
We are recruiting on behalf of an international company active in the specialty chemicals sector. The company develops and markets technical solutions used across various industrial fields (textile, coatings, polymers, surface treatment, etc.).
As part of the expansion of its activities in Central Europe, we are looking for a Sales Manager to cover the Swiss and Austrian markets.
You will take full responsibility for commercial development across these two strategic countries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an industrial B2B client portfolio.
- Identify new business opportunities in specialized market segments.
- Provide reliable technical support to customers, in collaboration with R&D and laboratory teams.
- Conduct site visits, tests, demonstrations, and product presentations.
- Prepare offers, pricing, forecasts, and regular reporting.
- Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
This is an autonomous role with strong client exposure and real impact on the local business.
Profile sought
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical industry (specialties, formulations, additives, colorants, polymers, etc.).
- Strong understanding of industrial B2B environments.
- Fluent German, very good level of English.
- Autonomous, technically credible, customer oriented, and able to manage a large territory.
- Based in Switzerland, with frequent travel across Switzerland and Austria.
