About the role

We are seeking a highly organised, commercially driven, and hands-on Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and scale growth operations across multiple businesses, including an accounting firm, business services company, and education/tuition centre.

This is a senior operational leadership role suited to someone who thrives on building systems, creating structure, managing people, and driving measurable business growth. We are not looking for someone focused purely on social media or campaign coordination — we are looking for a commercially minded operator who can take ownership of the entire sales and marketing function.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable systems, managing remote teams, improving lead conversion processes, and implementing operational structures that support long-term growth across multiple business divisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and implement scalable sales and marketing systems across multiple businesses
  • Manage and optimise inbound lead generation and conversion processes
  • Develop and improve sales funnels from enquiry through to conversion
  • Monitor and improve pipeline performance, response times, follow-up processes, and conversion rates
  • Manage remote team members including sales staff, content creators, administrators, and external freelancers
  • Establish KPIs, targets, accountability structures, and performance reporting systems
  • Develop workflows, SOPs, scripts, reporting dashboards, and operational processes
  • Oversee marketing coordination across social media, WhatsApp, email marketing, content creation, and paid advertising
  • Analyse sales and marketing data to identify botlenecks and growth opportunities
  • Build operational structures that reduce reliance on the business owner
  • Deliver weekly reporting on sales performance, pipeline activity, conversion metrics, and operational progress
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve revenue growth and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, growth management, business development, or commercial operations
  • Strong experience building systems, teams, and operational processes from the ground up
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and people management skills
  • Strong understanding of sales operations, lead management, and conversion strategy
  • Experience managing remote teams and freelancers
  • Ability to work independently and make confident commercial decisions
  • Highly organised, analytical, and process-driven
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Experience with CRM systems, reporting tools, and digital marketing coordination preferred
  • Experience within service-based businesses is highly advantageous
