The Role
As part of a replacement, we offer you the opportunity to join the French sales team of the Food Business Unit as a Sales & Product Manager Food M/F.
Day-to-Day
Integrated into the Sales/Adv team and in close contact with the General Manager based in Annecy, you will manage/retain your existing client portfolio (human food), prospect and develop business in new sectors such as animal feed or nutraceuticals.
Acting as the interface between global suppliers and industrial clients, you will be a buyer, product manager, and salesperson, taking full responsibility for projects from the product analysis/selection/purchase phase through to delivery/payment.
You will benefit from the support of an Adv team for back-office operations, European business development managers for specific technical projects, and the "Nordmann Food & Nutrition Lab," an application laboratory dedicated to food and nutrition for developing new ranges or tailor-made solutions.
Your Playground:
France (particularly in the Rhône-Alpes, Brittany, or Ile de France regions)

Industrial food and nutraceutical clients
Products and Services:
Wide range of food ingredients for the food and nutrition sector (commodities and specialties)
Location:
Home office/remote work ideally in the Lyon region for proximity to the headquarters and ease of travel. A location in the Ile de France region is also possible.

What You Bring:
- Mandatory technical background in Biology/Food Science/Food Process Engineering.
- Comfortable with product ranges like food additives/ingredients.
- Commercial experience allowing you to know the French industrial landscape, especially the food industry sectors.
- Technical expertise providing confidence and legitimacy in exchanges with suppliers, enabling you to offer relevant product advice and technical solutions to clients.
- Genuine appetite for field work and prospecting, combined with listening and communication skills, allowing you to adapt to your contacts.
- Autonomous, resourceful, and proactive, capable of finding solutions outside your referenced range to meet client needs.
- Comfortable with numbers (common sense, financial logic) and an entrepreneurial mindset, managing your activity and sector like a small business.
- Proficiency in IT tools (Office Suite, SAP, CRM...).
- English is essential in an international environment.
Practical Information:
- Executive status, permanent contract (CDI).
- Home office, regular travel in France, occasional international travel (group headquarters, trade shows...).
- Salary: Fixed salary to be discussed based on your experience (starting from €55-60k gross annually) + attractive profit-sharing.
