About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead from the front in selling units and motivate the team to meet desired targets.
  • Develop and manage sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
  • Develop and implement benchmarked practices to build service delivery excellence and encourage exceptional customer service.
  • Continuously analyse customer behaviour, competitor behaviour, market and economic conditions and adjust the sales approach.
  • Create an engaging, enabling and productive organisational culture through mentoring and coaching.
  • Adhere to good corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics principles.
  • Support the development and approval of a dealership budget aligned to shareholder expectations, OEM forecasts, financial institutions requirements, market conditions, and business unit needs.
  • Evaluate all trade ins using appropriate tools such as Bid4Cars.
  • Manage the recondition process and costs.
  • Ensure vehicles are sales ready, correctly priced and advertised.
  • Manage every lead through CMS.
  • Manage inventory and stock.
