About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead from the front in selling units and motivate the team to meet desired targets.
- Develop and manage sustainable relationships with customers that contribute to a culture of customer service excellence.
- Develop and implement benchmarked practices to build service delivery excellence and encourage exceptional customer service.
- Continuously analyse customer behaviour, competitor behaviour, market and economic conditions and adjust the sales approach.
- Create an engaging, enabling and productive organisational culture through mentoring and coaching.
- Adhere to good corporate governance, compliance, integrity and ethics principles.
- Support the development and approval of a dealership budget aligned to shareholder expectations, OEM forecasts, financial institutions requirements, market conditions, and business unit needs.
- Evaluate all trade ins using appropriate tools such as Bid4Cars.
- Manage the recondition process and costs.
- Ensure vehicles are sales ready, correctly priced and advertised.
- Manage every lead through CMS.
- Manage inventory and stock.
