Wabash Valley Exteriors is seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Sales & Technical Project Manager to support our sales process while ensuring technical accuracy and excellent customer service. This role works directly with homeowners, property managers, commercial customers and internal teams to evaluate exterior projects, prepare estimates, and help guide projects from initial consultation through completion. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of exterior construction systems and enjoys working with customers while collaborating closely with installation and management teams.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Engagement

  • Meet with residential and commercial customers for on‑site consultations
  • Present roofing, siding, gutters, windows, soffit, and fascia solutions
  • Prepare and explain estimates, proposals, and contracts
  • Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Educate customers on materials, warranties, and installation processes
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system

Technical Estimating & Project Oversight

  • Perform inspections and take accurate measurements
  • Develop scopes of work, material takeoffs, and job specifications
  • Ensure estimates align with company standards, manufacturer requirements, and local building codes
  • Identify potential project challenges and communicate them proactively
  • Support installation teams with technical details and job‑specific guidance

Project Management & Quality Control

  • Serve as a point of contact for customers from sale through project completion
  • Participate in job‑site visits and post‑installation walkthroughs
  • Assist with issue resolution, change orders, and customer concerns
  • Help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards

Team Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with sales managers, project managers, and installers
  • Participate in training on products, systems, and sales meetings
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and customer‑first mindset
  • Promote a customer‑first, team‑oriented culture

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in exterior construction, estimating, sales or project management
  • Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, gutters, windows, soffit/fascia
  • Experience managing projects and customer relationships
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to read plans, scopes, and manufacturer specifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to use estimating software, CRM tools, and standard office applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with insurance restoration or storm‑related claims
  • Construction or building science education
  • Manufacturer or industry certifications (or willingness to obtain)
