About the role
Overview
A Salesforce Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing digital marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related tools. This role combines marketing strategy, automation, data analysis, and CRM management to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Plan, build, and execute marketing campaigns (email, SMS, social, and web)
- Use tools like Journey Builder and Email Studio to automate customer journeys
- Segment audiences based on behavior, demographics, and engagement data
Marketing Automation
- Design automated workflows and drip campaigns
- Implement lead nurturing strategies using Pardot
- Manage triggers, personalization, and dynamic content
Data & Analytics
- Track campaign performance (open rates, CTR, conversions)
- Build reports and dashboards within Salesforce CRM
- Optimize campaigns using A/B testing and insights
CRM & Data Management
- Maintain clean and accurate customer data
- Manage data imports, exports, and integrations
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
Collaboration
- Work with sales, content, and design teams
- Align marketing campaigns with business goals
- Coordinate with developers for technical integrations when needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Pardot
- Knowledge of email marketing, automation, and CRM systems
- Familiarity with SQL, AMPscript, or HTML/CSS (preferred)
Marketing Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels
- Experience with campaign lifecycle management
- Knowledge of lead generation and nurturing strategies
