About the role
Overview Koniag Management Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect to support KMS and our government customer.
This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.
This position is remote.
This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Establish best practices for development, security, and performance optimization
- Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and technical standards
- Participate in technical design sessions and provide architectural guidance to development teams
- Develop complex customizations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies
- Create and maintain technical documentation including solution design documents
- Provide technical oversight of deliverables
- Evaluate new Salesforce features and technologies for potential implementation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
- Manage integration architecture with external systems and third-party applications
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience
- 5+ years of experience in architectural roles
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification
Required Skills and Competencies
- Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations
- Advanced expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce development
- Strong understanding of Salesforce security models and sharing architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Proven experience designing large-scale Salesforce implementations
- Strong knowledge of API integration patterns and middleware solutions
- Experience with data migration and ETL tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Desired Skills and Competencies
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification
- Experience with government IT projects
- Knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms
- Additional certifications in Salesforce specialty clouds
- Experience with AI/ML implementation in Salesforce
- Experience with GitHub
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices
- Experience with change management in enterprise environments
