Job Description:
The client is seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Engineer to support major modernization initiatives across the application portfolio. The role focuses on designing and delivering end-to-end solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud for mission-critical public sector programs such as case management, licensing, and service operations.
This position ensures that all solutions align with business objectives, technical standards, security requirements, and long-term platform strategy. The role involves leveraging both declarative and programmatic Salesforce capabilities to build scalable, secure, and maintainable systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include providing technical leadership by establishing development standards, mentoring junior developers, and conducting code reviews to maintain quality.
• Lead design and engineering efforts including integration design, solution blueprinting, and configuration strategies.
• Develop and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and system integrations following best practices.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and recommend optimal approaches.
• Review Salesforce seasonal releases (Spring, Summer, Winter) to assess impact on existing systems and integrations.
• Collaborate with vendors, product owners, administrators, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
• Apply AI-driven approaches to enhance Salesforce solutions, including automation and intelligent features while ensuring compliance.

Skills Required

• Hands-on Salesforce experience in configuration, customization, and solution design (5+ years)
• Strong development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integration development (5+ years)
• Experience working in public-sector, regulated, or compliance-heavy environments (3+ years)
• Experience leading technical discovery, design sessions, or development teams (2+ years)
