About

We are seeking an Advanced SAP ABAP Developer to join a high-impact DevOps team.

You will focus on the standardization of business partner master data, enhancing the SAP MDG landscape, and supporting the group's transition to SAP RISE.

• ABAP Full Stack Specialist: Lead the end-to-end development, enhancement, and maintenance of the SAP MDG application to ensure global data integrity.
• Modernization Driver: Play a critical role in enabling the SAP RISE migration, ensuring that legacy master data structures are successfully transitioned to a cloud-ready environment.
• Quality-First Engineering: 2 5 years of experience implementing automated testing (ABAP Unit) and manual e2e testing to ensure the stability of core financial and partner data.

• Experience: 4-6 years related experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP (Full Stack) developer.
• Essential: Strong understanding of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance).
• Advantageous: SAP ABAP Certification.

Essential Skills & Technologies

• SAP ABAP Full Stack development.
• SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) application maintenance and enhancement.
• SAP RISE migration protocols and enablement.
• Automated Testing: ABAP Unit tests and front-end/e2e testing (Tosca).
• Manual Testing: Functional testing of custom developments.
• 3rd Level Problem Management/Operations support.
• Agile Methodologies: Working within the Agile Working Model (AWM) including Epic and User Story refinement.

Advantageous Skills

• Experience with Hana / S4 Technology
• Experience with SAP UI5
• Experience with SAP Master Data Governance
• Flexibility to work some weekends / shifts or longer hours if required.
• Experience in Agile Methodology
• Experience in using Agile Tools such as Confluence and JIRA (advantageous)
• Basic understanding of Cloud solution integrating with an SAP S/4 system
• Basic understanding of Streaming technologies such as Kafka

Key Responsibilities

• Development of new functionalities to distribute, enhance or create Master Data (in S/4 or ECC) Backend /Frontend
• Technical and functional refinement and breakdown of requirements (Epics, User Stories)
• Enhance and maintain SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) Application
• Enable SAP RISE Migration
• Testing
• Automated Testing ABAP Unit test and front end / e2e tests (Tosca)
• Manual Testing own development as well as other manual (functional) tests
• Operations Problem Management 3rd level
