SAP ABAP Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d) Permanent position, full-time 40 hours, and unlimited As soon as possible or by arrangement

Your Tasks

As an SAP ABAP Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will optimize company processes with your extensive experience in both project work and a bit of support, in coordination with specialist departments, within the scope of an active role in an S/4 HANA implementation or conversion. You will also analyze relevant business processes, create functional concepts, design, plan, and implement new authorization concepts, and introduce new solutions.

• Strategic consulting in IT orientation and IT design with ABAP and ABAP-OO
• Development of SAP UI5 / Fiori applications and interface programming with OData
• Requirements analysis, conception, and new creation of module processes, components, and IT systems, technology stacks, and development environments
• Go-Live, components, and architectural solutions
• Test management and assessment of IT security

Your Qualifications

• Many years of practical experience and a desire for project work, as well as training young and older colleagues, and support
• Ability to identify customer needs and problems, understand how to solve them, and convince them of the added value and benefits
• Preferably training in the SAP environment or a university degree in business, business informatics, information technology, or an alternative similar training or qualification
• Good knowledge in ABAP development
• Proficiency in at least one core SAP module
• Familiarity with keywords and tools such as Agile Transformation, process analysis according to OCEB2, requirements analysis according to IREB, test management according to ISTQB, and consulting methods (e.g., GAP analysis, Delphi method)
• Cross-module knowledge
• Solution-oriented and inventive
• High degree of independence, organizational talent, and resilience, as well as empathy and good communication skills
• Teamwork, self-confidence, self-awareness, and strong communication skills
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
