Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal SAP Supply Chain Solution Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing processes across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance. This principal‑level role carries significant responsibility for ensuring architectural excellence across our SAP ecosystem, as the successful candidate will be accountable for reviewing and validating complex solution designs proposed by senior functional team members. The architect will design sophisticated solutions spanning the full capability of SAP's suite of systems, demonstrating the ability to Think Big and Insist on the Highest Standards by challenging the status quo, authoring technical papers to optimize processes, and expanding system capabilities to drive highly efficient operations.

A key strategic responsibility includes proposing and developing a comprehensive 3‑year roadmap for systems solutions that supports Leo business growth, evaluating and recommending new system capabilities and tools that enhance business user productivity and operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in business process design and optimization, comprehensive knowledge of SAP supply chain processes across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and finance, hands‑on functional SAP configuration and solution design experience, and demonstrated proficiency in business requirements gathering and facilitating process workshops. This role demands a leader who can balance technical depth with strategic vision while maintaining the highest standards of solution architecture across a complex enterprise landscape.

About The Team

This role is part of an internal IT team that owns the enterprise systems for Amazon Leo supply chain and manufacturing functions. This team is responsible for enterprise solutions implementation, enhancement and support.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• 10+ years as a SAP solutions architect experience in cross‑functional domains
• 10+ years of deep experience in SAP functional delivery and business process design
• 5‑10 years’ experience across Procurement, Manufacturing and Finance
• Lead architect/principal level experience with SAP solutions
• Proven track record influencing customer SAP strategy
• Executive presence with CxO/Director level stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
• Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
• Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range:
  • USA, NY, New York – $197,900 – $267,800 annually
  • USA, TX, Austin – $179,900 – $243,400 annually
  • USA, VA, Arlington – $179,900 – $243,400 annually
  • USA, WA, Bellevue – $179,900 – $243,400 annually
• Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
