SAP EWM Architect

About

Immediate need for a talented SAP EWM Architect. This is a 06-12+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Parsippany, NJ (Onsite).

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of SAP EWM solutions aligned with business requirements
• Drive end-to-end implementation, integration, and optimization of SAP EWM systems
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to define solutions
• Provide expertise in warehouse processes including inbound, outbound, internal movements, and inventory management
• Design integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and external systems
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and best practices adherence
• Conduct system design reviews, code reviews, and solution validation
• Support testing phases including SIT, UAT, and go-live activities
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide architectural guidance
• Mentor and guide junior consultants and developers

Requirements and Technology Experience

• Key Skills: SAP EWM, RF framework, PPF, MFS
• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on SAP EWM
• Proven experience as an SAP EWM Architect in at least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations
• Strong knowledge of warehouse business processes and supply chain operations
• Experience with embedded and decentralized EWM
• Hands-on experience with RF framework, PPF, MFS, and integration with automation systems
• Strong integration experience with SAP S/4HANA and other modules (MM, SD, PP)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
• Exposure to SAP TM integration
• Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology
• S/4HANA implementation experience
