SAP Inhouse Project Manager

Your role in the team

• In this role, you are the right-hand person to the Head of Applications and significantly support them in the operational development of the group-wide SAP and ERP system landscape.
• The focus is on an ongoing, complex SAP S/4HANA transformation project within our international environment.
• You independently manage projects from planning to implementation, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure a stable, high‑performance, and cost‑efficient system landscape.
• In addition to bringing structure and assertiveness, you also possess the personal motivation to engage sustainably with challenging topics and to drive them forward consistently.
• The role offers a high degree of autonomy and scope for initiative and is aimed at individuals who are willing to take responsibility, enjoy working internationally, and find satisfaction in combining operational detail work with strategic overview.
• Planning, steering, and monitoring of SAP/ERP projects (including S/4HANA, MM, PP, SD, WM, etc.) – from the conception phase to successful completion.
• Leadership and coordination of interdisciplinary teams (highly experienced SAP consultants, developers, business units) as well as communication with stakeholders at group and country levels.
• Definition of project objectives, requirements, schedules, and budgets: active resource and supplier management including contract processing and budget control.
• Prioritization of demand/backlog and preparation of management decisions.
• Operational support for the Head of Applications on topics related to ERP security, SAP basis, integration and release management, as well as user and license management.

• The minimum salary is EUR 75,000.00 gross per year.

Qualifications

• Analytical, solution‑oriented, and structured working style as well as a confident, assertive demeanor.
• Willingness to travel for projects (approximately 20%).

Experience

• Experience in the SAP environment, ideally with knowledge of multiple modules (e.g., SAP SD, MM, PP, TM, etc.) for at least 5 years.
• At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in project management and enjoyment of working in a project‑driven environment.
• Ideally, experience in international projects or enjoyment of working in international/intercultural teams.
