SAP Integration Architect

About

Our Ottawa based client is seeking experienced SAP Integration Architect to join their project on a long term contract.

The ideal candidates should have Canadian security clearance of at least Reliability level, with Secret preferred.

This will be a hybrid role with the exact amount of on-site scheduled days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end integration architecture between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Define integration strategies using SAP BTP, CPI, PI/PO, or SAP Cloud Connector.
• Establish API frameworks, message protocols (e.g., IDoc, RFC, OData, SOAP), and data mapping standards.
• Lead integration requirements gathering and interface specification documentation.
• Ensure scalability, security, and performance of all SAP integrations.
• Govern integration patterns, reusability, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Collaborate with functional, middleware, and security teams for seamless data flow.
• Manage integration testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting across landscapes.
• Align integration architecture with enterprise and solution architecture roadmaps.
• Document integration landscapes, interface inventories, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Canadian security clearance of at least Reliability level, with Secret preferred.
