SAP UAT Manager (SAP Upgrade Programme)

The Role

• Own the end-to-end UAT approach, including planning, preparation, execution, and closure
• Coordinate with suppliers and release teams to ensure UAT aligns with overall delivery milestones
• Work closely with business stakeholders, SMEs, and end users to define UAT scope, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria
• Lead, manage, and support business testers throughout UAT execution, providing guidance and coordination
• Ensure all test data, environments, and system access are in place ahead of UAT activities
• Oversee defect management including triage, prioritisation, retesting, and validation of fixes
• Track, monitor, and report on UAT progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders
• Support the transition from SIT into UAT and from UAT into production, ensuring exit criteria are met

Skills Needed

• Proven experience managing UAT on large-scale business or IT transformation programmes
• Strong SAP UAT experience (SAP upgrades or implementations essential)
• Exposure to SAP IBP for Response and Supply Planning highly desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience leading and coordinating business testing teams
• Strong understanding of SDLC and how UAT integrates with SIT and release management
• Experience managing test cycles, including SIT 12 UAT and UAT 12 Production transitions
• Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM)
