Overview

You will have the opportunity to actively shape security aspects in extensive SAP platforms and implement hardening measures across hybrid operating models. You will work with SAP platforms, HANA and Oracle databases, as well as Linux and Windows server landscapes, and integrate security topics into operational and project-based tasks. Your Tasks

• Develop and maintain security standards and hardening guidelines for SAP system landscapes.
• Share knowledge with the basis team and strengthen the security competence of colleagues in everyday life and projects.
• Coordinate the implementation of hardening measures in both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Introduce automated audit processes for system hardening and configuration reviews with suitable tools and supervise their further development.
• Analyze security alerts, define escalation processes, and develop detection rules to improve monitoring logic.
• Support the stable operation and high availability of the SAP landscape and contribute security perspectives to technical projects.
• Document security processes clearly and ensure traceable status reports and handovers.

Your Profile

• You have several years of experience in SAP basis administration with a focus on security and system hardening.
• You are familiar with HANA or Oracle databases as well as Linux and Windows servers.
• You have experience with encryption techniques, SSO procedures, and certificate management.
• You are proficient in monitoring and alert concepts and can assess incidents professionally and derive detection rules.
• You have experience in ITIL-supported support and project processes and work in a structured manner.
• You are team-oriented, have strong communication skills, and enjoy sharing knowledge with colleagues.
