About the role
Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to support a strategic transformation program focused on migrating the management of Mobile Network Assets from a legacy system landscape to SAP S/4HANA, establishing SAP as the single source of truth for all asset-related processes.
The program covers the full asset lifecycle, including procurement, warehousing, serial number tracking, capitalisation, internal movement, depreciation, and decommissioning, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards and audit-ready reporting.
A key objective of the transformation is to replace a fragmented, manual, and partially non-standardised process landscape with a harmonised, automated, and transparent SAP-based solution.
Key Challenges & Focus Areas
- Fragmented and manual asset management processes
- Limited automation across asset lifecycle activities
- Lack of transparency in asset status and movement
- Improved control over asset valuation (equipment costs, work costs, depreciation impact)
- Ensuring IFRS compliance and auditability
- Establishing SAP S/4HANA as the single source of truth for asset data
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the SAP S/4HANA migration project for asset management processes
- Manage stakeholders across business, IT, and finance functions
- Ensure alignment between legacy processes and target SAP architecture
- Oversee delivery, timeline, risks, and project governance
- Drive implementation of standardized and automated asset lifecycle processes
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and audit requirements
