About the Role
We are a fast‑growing, award‑winning IT consulting firm headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, and we’re seeking an experienced SAP Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, high‑impact SAP initiatives for our enterprise clients. You will own end‑to‑end project planning, execution, and delivery while ensuring strict adherence to our PMO governance and best‑practice methodologies.
Work model: Hybrid – 2‑3 days per week on‑site at our Brampton office, the remainder remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP Projects: Own the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, closure) for SAP S/4HANA and related solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud, Fiori, BW/4HANA).
- PMO Alignment: Apply our PMO framework (stage‑gate, risk‑based governance, KPI tracking) to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business owners, technical architects, development teams, and external partners. Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and executive briefings.
- Resource Coordination: Build and manage cross‑functional delivery teams (functional consultants, developers, data engineers, QA, infrastructure). Optimize resource allocation and resolve conflicts.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks; maintain issue logs and drive timely resolutions.
- Change & Release Management: Oversee change control processes, coordinate testing cycles, and ensure smooth production roll‑outs.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned, contribute to methodology enhancements, and mentor junior project staff.
Required Experience & Skills

| SAP Expertise | Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations (greenfield, brownfield, or migration). Familiarity with SAP Activate, SAP Cloud Platform, Fiori/UI5, and integration tools (PI/PO, CPI) is essential. |
| Project Management | 5+ years leading large‑scale, technically complex SAP projects. Proven track record of delivering on‑time, on‑budget, and meeting scope. |
| Methodologies | Strong knowledge of PMO frameworks (PMI‑PMBOK, Prince2, Agile‑Scrum hybrid). Experience with stage‑gate approvals, Earned Value Management, and KPI dashboards. |
| Leadership & Communication | Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive consensus across multi‑disciplinary teams. |
| Technical Acumen | Understanding of SAP architecture, data migration (LSMW, SAP Data Services), ABAP/ABAP OO basics, and cloud‑native concepts. |
| Tools | Proficient with MS Project / Project Online, JIRA/Confluence, SAP Solution Manager, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau). |
| Education | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; PMP, PMI‑ACP, or SAP Project Manager certification is a plus. |
| Location | Based in or willing to relocate to Brampton, ON. Must be able to work on‑site 2‑3 days per week. |
