Summary
The Agentic Innovation Lab is a dynamic unit dedicated to transforming legal, contracting, and procurement workflows through advanced AI solutions. Our goal is to streamline operations and foster efficiency in enterprise legal processes by leveraging cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
- User research and problem framing
- Lead and support user research activities: interviews, surveys, journey mapping, and workflow analysis across legal, contracting, and enterprise functions
- Synthesise research into actionable insight reports, personas, and opportunity assessments
- Frame problems clearly using structured methods
- Product development and prototyping
- Write clear, testable user stories, problem statements, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to design, build, and test AI agent prototypes
- Drive rapid prototyping cycles – wireframing, low-fidelity mock-ups, and functional demos
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog using Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent
- Regularly update project timelines and deliverables to ensure transparency and accountability
- Demonstration and stakeholder management
- Deliver polished demonstrations of AI solutions to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Create comprehensive documentation, onboarding guides, and training materials
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
- Continuous improvement and market awareness
- Monitor the legal-tech and AI product landscape for emerging tools, competitors, and best practices
- Contribute to the team's knowledge base and ways of working
Experience & Skills
- Required:
- Ideal candidates will hold a Law degree (LLB or equivalent) and possess 0–3 years of experience in product management, UX research, business analysis, legal operations, in-house legal, or legal-tech environment.
- Individuals should have a strong understanding of contracting workflows, CLM concepts, or procurement processes, either academically or through practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-structuring skills
- Ability to write clear user stories and product requirements
- Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding (at a conceptual level) how AI/ML models work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Desirable:
- Familiarity with AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, NLP, generative AI concepts, prompt engineering)
- Experience with product tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Basic programming or scripting knowledge, or experience with no-code/low-code platforms
- Understanding of legal workflows, CLM systems, or enterprise contracting processes
