Compensation: $70,000 – $75,000/year + bonus eligibility

Atlantic Group is hiring a School Recruiter (Paraprofessionals) in New York, NY to drive full-cycle recruiting for paraprofessionals, teacher aides, and classroom support staff across school-based placements. In this role, you will source, screen, and place high-volume candidates while managing active pipelines in a fast-paced agency environment. You will leverage Bullhorn, LinkedIn Recruiter, and major job boards to build talent pipelines and support consistent school staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Source, screen, interview, and place paraprofessionals and teacher aides across school-based assignments.
  • High-Volume Candidate Sourcing: Recruit education support professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Candidate Pipeline Development: Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified paraprofessionals and teacher aides ready for placement.
  • Compliance & Onboarding Coordination: Manage candidate onboarding including background checks, credential verification, and required documentation.
  • School Staffing Coordination: Partner with internal teams and school administrators to support staffing needs and ensure timely placements.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of agency recruiting experience placing paraprofessionals or teacher aides within school-based environments is required, including experience working with Department of Education requirements.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of school-based hiring requirements, including credentialing, background checks, and onboarding processes for paraprofessionals and education support staff.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using ATS platforms such as Bullhorn along with LinkedIn Recruiter and major job boards for candidate sourcing is required.
  • Skills & Attributes: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to manage high candidate volume, stay organized across multiple requisitions, and maintain consistent candidate engagement in a fast-paced agency recruiting environment.
