SDE II (MERN Stack Backend Focus)

About

As a Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js) at Beebom, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable applications using the MERN stack.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable full-stack applications using the MERN framework
• Building robust backend services with a focus on performance, security, and scalability
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
• Collaborating with front-end developers and designers to create smooth end-to-end experiences
• Building, integrating, and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Managing and optimizing database architectures (MongoDB with optional SQL exposure)
• Implementing data protection and security standards

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development
• Strong proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js), with deep backend development expertise
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Experience with Next.js and its ecosystem is a plus
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) for deploying and managing applications
• Proficiency with Git and experience working in agile development environments
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve complex problems
• Experience with SQL databases (MySQL) is a plus
