Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
- Over 6 years of professional experience in Testing or Development focusing on UI and API Automation
- Proven track record of building and maintaining an automation framework in a large enterprise setting, utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress
- Demonstrable experience with Typescript and/or JavaScript and Cucumber/BDD
- Proficient in troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving technical issues across the technology stack using both automated and manual testing practices
- Experienced in following best practices for testing Angular/Vue based UIs and RESTful web services; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous
- Ability to excel in an Agile Scrum setting with an emphasis on the value of versatile team members
- Background in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy
- Knowledge of Code Quality and Coverage Tools such as Sonar or Sealights is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for interaction with diverse teams across the organization
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly structured environment to achieve team objectives
- Enthusiasm for learning and mastering innovative technologies
- Experience in developing and maintaining test plans and test cases based on business requirements
- Team-oriented mindset as part of a group of SDETs focused on automation and creating reusable components
- Eagerness to learn and embrace new technologies
- Familiarity with Accessibility testing is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a comprehensive suite of automation tests for our Digital Healthcare offerings
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders
- Engage in rapid prototyping to quickly evaluate both promising and unviable ideas
- Write source code, modify existing components, and configure tests for developed components
- Ensure that our designs satisfy performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability standards
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technical staff
