Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Over 6 years of professional experience in Testing or Development focusing on UI and API Automation
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining an automation framework in a large enterprise setting, utilizing Playwright and/or Cypress
  • Demonstrable experience with Typescript and/or JavaScript and Cucumber/BDD
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving technical issues across the technology stack using both automated and manual testing practices
  • Experienced in following best practices for testing Angular/Vue based UIs and RESTful web services; familiarity with GraphQL is advantageous
  • Ability to excel in an Agile Scrum setting with an emphasis on the value of versatile team members
  • Background in a DevOps environment with CI/CD tools; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy
  • Knowledge of Code Quality and Coverage Tools such as Sonar or Sealights is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for interaction with diverse teams across the organization
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly structured environment to achieve team objectives
  • Enthusiasm for learning and mastering innovative technologies
  • Experience in developing and maintaining test plans and test cases based on business requirements
  • Team-oriented mindset as part of a group of SDETs focused on automation and creating reusable components
  • Eagerness to learn and embrace new technologies
  • Familiarity with Accessibility testing is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a comprehensive suite of automation tests for our Digital Healthcare offerings
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and business stakeholders
  • Engage in rapid prototyping to quickly evaluate both promising and unviable ideas
  • Write source code, modify existing components, and configure tests for developed components
  • Ensure that our designs satisfy performance, security, usability, reliability, and scalability standards
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technical staff
