Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role. The successful candidate will manage SEO campaigns, conduct keyword research, analyze web analytics, build and manage backlink profiles, and communicate with clients and team members to ensure the successful implementation of SEO strategies.
The SEO Manager’s primary goal will be to drive relevant organic traffic to our brand as well as all our client’s websites by collaborating with our local as well as international SEO teams.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience with all aspects of SEO (on-page, off-page, localization, digital PR, etc.) in an agency setup is essential.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience managing SEO for small and medium-sized businesses in North America.
- Advanced understanding of search engine algorithms and web analytics.
- Proficient in conducting keyword research and utilizing keyword research tools
- Experience in link building and managing backlink profiles
- Ability to explain complicated SEO issues to a non-technical audience so they can understand the problem and proposed solutions.
- Deep understanding and experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Experienced with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, WebCEO, etc.
- Experience writing long-form / pillar content interspersed with lead hooks at the TOFU, MOFU and BOFU levels
- Working knowledge of HTML and CMSs.
- Experience with Google My Business (GMB) verifications and optimization
- Knowledge of local listing services and platforms that extend the reach of SMBs and franchises
- Ability to develop strategies for growing organic traffic to websites that may have plateaued over time.
- Ability to support account managers and sales teams by getting on client calls and providing pre-sales support as needed.
- Ability to fix SOPs and build new ones as and when needed
- Expertise in Google sheets
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Native level proficiency with spoken and written English
- Strong presence in video presentations
