About
GovCIO is seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our team for the evening shift (3pm - 11:30pm), supporting the US Courts in Washington, DC. This role offers a hybrid schedule with four days onsite and one remote day each week (Fridays).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and correlate threat data from various sources to identify hackers and their tactics within the client’s networks, evaluating potential threats.
- Provide comprehensive assessments and reports to enhance situational awareness regarding current cyber threats.
- Develop detailed cyber threat profiles based on specific regions, countries, and actors.
- Generate cyber threat assessments to analyze entity threats effectively.
- Support high-technology investigations through computer forensics, including data recovery and network assessments.
- Collaborate with intrusion analysts to identify and address cyber threats effectively.
- Deliver timely intelligence reports to incident response teams, facilitating swift action.
- Assess the client's overall security posture by leveraging technical knowledge of computer systems and networks.
- Conduct intelligence analysis on intrusion tactics and procedures associated with cyber attacks.
- Research hacker methodologies and vulnerabilities, providing in-depth briefings to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of security analysis experience (or equivalent experience).
- Mandatory Certification: Splunk Fundamentals I & II.
- Must be able to maintain a public trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Salary Range
USD $81,850.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
