Security Architect / Security Specialist (m/f/d)

About our client

Our client is a leading high tech engineering company building complex products used in regulated and security sensitive environments. They are expanding their Product Security function and are looking for a Security Architect or Security Specialist to shape security strategy, define security requirements, and support secure product development across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate product architectures and technical concepts with regard to security, approval, and certification requirements
• Define and verify security measures to ensure achievement of product security objectives
• Conduct risk assessments and derive concrete security requirements
• Perform risk analyses covering threats and vulnerabilities
• Implement security measures at conceptual and architectural level
• Enable and support development teams in implementing security requirements
• Implement and integrate information security frameworks within projects according to ISO 27001 and NIS-2
• Contribute to security documentation and support approval and certification processes

Mandatory Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in Cyber Security / IT Security within product development environments
• Hands-on experience with BSI IT-Grundschutz
• Strong knowledge of EU security regulations including Data Act, Cyber Resilience Act, and Radio Equipment Directive
• Proven experience with Information Security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS-2)
• Experience working in structured security processes (e.g. Common Criteria)
• Experience supporting approval and certification processes
• Negotiation-level German language skills

• Ü2 security clearance not required
• VS-NfD briefing mandatory
