Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Nebraska, with occasional opportunities for remote work. As a Security Electronics Superintendent, you will oversee the installation and management of electronic security systems for correctional facilities. Responsibilities include coordinating with project teams, supervising system installations, ensuring compliance with industry codes, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining project timelines and budget. Regular communication with stakeholders and adherence to safety protocols will also be integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in electronic security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems
- Technical skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing security electronics
- Proficiency in project management and supervising installation teams
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards, including ACA and ADA requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment with some remote functionality
- Previous experience in correctional facility systems or related fields is a plus
- Relevant technical certifications or a degree in electronics, engineering, or a related field is preferred
